Stavanger is the first stop after a day of cruising from South Hampton. The ship arrives in the early morning and we are greeted by a charming port with a distinct smell of fish (you quickly become accustom to it). Stavanger is proud of the old village buildings that they have preserved the later pictures are us walking through them. Churches are a focal point of the city and Stavanger has a beautiful one near the water front.
